The Legal Scoop was created in January 2007 with one goal in mind - to allow law students an opportunity to voice their opinions with one another with regard to numerous legal topics. With the help of three other contributors, The Legal Scoop quickly attracted the likes of readers from all over the country.  The success of the site is not just measured by the number of quality links that prominent legal blogs have placed on their sites directing their own readers to The Legal Scoop, but it is measured by the enjoyment that I have (and that the former contributors had) in learning and connecting to all our readers.

While the same original goal for the site is still prevalent today, The Legal Scoop has become so much more. Completely redesigned in May of 2008, The Legal Scoop is a place for law students, lawyers, and anyone else involved or interested in the legal profession to be to heard. Readers can utilize comment sections and a discussion forum to voice what is on their minds regarding various issues in the law.

I am taking on this project on my own as previous contributors are preparing for the bar exam. However, we hope to have them back in the future for some guest contributions once they begin the practice of law.

The Legal Scoop is always looking for new ideas and is open to all suggestions, so please contact me with any you may have.
